Maintenance Planner at Seven Up Bottling Company Limited

Seven Up Bottling Company Limited is a leading Nigerian manufacturer, producing and distributing popular beverages like Pepsi, 7Up, Mirinda, Mountain Dew, Aquafina, and Lipton Ice Tea. The company recently expanded into the Home & Personal Care category with the launch of the 2SURE brand.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Planner will develop and execute maintenance strategies for production lines, drive innovation and line improvement, and manage resources to ensure safety, availability, and quality, with a focus on environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor maintenance strategy execution.
• Organize and schedule annual production line and facility overhauls.
• Increase preventative maintenance to minimize breakdowns and reduce mean time between failures.
• Manage inventory for spare parts and maintenance materials.
• Schedule routine maintenance aligned with production needs and monitor execution using SAP.
• Conduct root cause analysis on breakdowns.
• Evaluate corrective actions for effectiveness, using available data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Eng.) or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in bottling operations as a maintenance planner or technician.
• Experience in new equipment or line installation is an advantage.
• Knowledge of WC manufacturing methodologies.
• Familiarity with HQSE modalities and codes.
• Understanding of GMP and GHK (5S) standards.
