Nestle Nigeria is currently seeking candidates for the role of Manufacturing Manager to join their team in Agbara, Ogun State, on a full-time basis.

Job Summary:

We seek a Manufacturing Manager who will drive the unit’s objectives by empowering and engaging individuals to enhance their capabilities and work methods. The role involves ensuring the timely achievement of production plans in compliance with safety, quality, cost, delivery, and environmental standards, striving towards Manufacturing Excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Implement Manufacturing Excellence initiatives to achieve the objectives outlined in the One T&P Roadmap for factories.
• Uphold a Health & Safety Culture and maintain conditions for a Safe Working Environment within the manufacturing objectives. Incorporate Environmental Sustainability into the area of responsibility.
• Ensure the timely introduction of new or updated products to the market as per agreements with the business.
• Foster the development of department teams and staff through engagement, performance management, career growth, succession planning, and coaching.
• Act as the Production Manager’s deputy when necessary.
• Ensure consistent manufacturing of finished products according to quality standards, on schedule, and meeting consumer expectations, striving for Manufacturing Excellence.
• Effectively manage production through operational reviews and utilize Standard Routines (SDCA) to ensure sustainable results and drive continuous improvement (PDCA) for breakthrough results.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial role in a manufacturing company.
• Ability to assess multiple and complex data accurately while maintaining a broader perspective.
• Proficiency in leading change initiatives.
• Exposure to continuous improvement techniques implementation.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in effectively managing teams.
• Experience in technical environments and/or supporting manufacturing functions.
