Marketing Manager at International Breweries Plc

The primary objective of this role is to guide sales teams in providing market-driven, differentiated services that enhance sustainable competitiveness within specific segments, ultimately driving volume growth, market share expansion, and increased competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop winning brand strategies and plans based on deep consumer insights
  • Lead the execution of brand plans to drive growth
  • Influence stakeholders at various levels and maintain collaborative cross-functional relationships across the Zone
  • Support innovation capability building and manage budgets
  • Identify innovative ideas and opportunities using the Front-end innovation process
  • Develop and sustain a balanced short- to long-term innovation pipeline for the brand
  • Create compelling brand positioning, purpose, and marketing mix
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Sales and Marketing or a related field
  • Post Graduate Degree in Business or Marketing preferred
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in Brand Management, Consumer Insights, and/or Marketing Strategy, preferably in Consumer Goods
Key Attributes and Competencies:
  • Established leadership ability at the mid/senior level
  • Proven ability to manage projects and multidisciplinary teams
  • Passionate self-starter, action-oriented, and results-driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of the Igbo language is an added advantage
  • Proven track record of launching innovative initiatives
  • Strong influencing and consulting skills
  • Ability to manage complex situations under pressure
