Nigeria Customs Service 2025 Recruitment
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) is inviting applications from qualified candidates for vacant positions in the following cadres: Superintendent, Inspector, and Customs Assistant.
Category A: Customs Superintendent Cadre (General Duty and Support Staff/Professionals)
- Grade: CONSOLE 08
- Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or equivalent from a recognized university or polytechnic.
- NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
Category B: Customs Inspector Cadre (General Duty and Support Staff/Professionals)
- Grade: CONSOLE 06
- Qualification:
- OND, NCE, or equivalent obtained from a recognized polytechnic or other institutions.
Category C: Customs Assistant Cadre (General Duty and Support Staff/Professionals)
- Grades: CONSOLE 03, 04
- Qualification:
- Secondary School Certificate with five (5) credits including English and Mathematics.
- Trade Test Certificate or Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity approved proficiency certificates (where applicable).
Method of Application
- Applications must be submitted online via the Nigeria Customs Service Recruitment Portal.
- Applicants must ensure they meet the qualifications for the position applied for.
- Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for further screening.

General Conditions
- Applicants must be Nigerian by birth.
- Completion of primary six education with a First School Leaving Certificate.
- Minimum height:
- Males: 1.7 meters.
- Females: 1.64 meters.
- Must be physically and mentally fit.
- Applicants must not:
- Be physically or mentally challenged.
- Have a criminal conviction.
- Be members of secret societies, cults, or drug addicts.
- Certificate of state/LGA of origin is required.
Notice
