Sevan Construction Nigeria Limited, established in 1981 and located in Lagos, Nigeria, specializes in Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and steel structures for various applications including warehouses, factories, and residential spaces. We are recognized for our extensive experience in steel fabrication and civil construction, catering to sectors like Oil & Gas and commercial development. Our factory, managed by a skilled professional team, produces up to 250 tons of steel products monthly, ensuring high-quality and reliable construction solutions.

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to ensure the smooth operation of our office. The successful candidate will handle a variety of administrative tasks, interact with different departments, and maintain effective communication with visitors, vendors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordination and Inventory Management:
    • Monitor material supplies and coordinate with the Account, Store, and Procurement departments.
    • Review levels of material supplies and prices to ensure efficiency.
  2. Communication and Scheduling:
    • Answer phone calls and take messages.
    • Schedule meetings and send meeting invites to relevant attendees.
  3. Office Management:
    • Ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
    • Oversee clerical tasks, such as sorting and sending mail.
  4. Inventory and Supplies:
    • Keep an inventory of office supplies.
    • Order new materials as needed to maintain stock levels.
  5. Document Management:
    • Maintain files and organize documentation effectively.
  6. Interaction and Support:
    • Interact with visitors, vendors, and clients in a professional manner.
    • Support various office functions and assist in other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Education:
    • OND / HND / B.Sc in a relevant field.
  • Experience:
    • 2 – 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in office management and administrative tasks.
  • Other:
    • Proximity to the Oshodi – Illupeju Axis of Lagos State will be an added advantage.
