Procurement Officer at Zetile Oil and Gas Limited

Zetile Oil and Gas Limited is an indigenous company in Nigeria’s downstream sector, providing services in the haulage, commercial and retail sales of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG), and Premium Motor Spirit (PMS). Additionally, Zetile Oil and Gas offers energy services through exploration, production, and processing of oil and natural gas.

Job Responsibilities:

• Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organization’s needs.
• Supplier Sourcing: Identify and source suppliers to ensure the best quality and pricing for goods and services.
• Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes to reduce expenses.
• Procurement Process Management: Manage the entire procurement process, from requisition to purchase order, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve the best possible terms.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and new sourcing opportunities.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Supervisory and management experience.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
