Job Objectives
We are seeking a Project Management Officer (PMO) to support the planning, coordination, monitoring, and delivery of projects across our organization. The ideal candidate will help implement project governance, manage reporting systems, and ensure efficient execution aligned with business goals in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for projects
- Track and monitor project progress, ensuring alignment with timelines and objectives
- Maintain project documentation such as charters, risk logs, and status reports
- Standardize and enforce project management methodologies, tools, and templates
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure task ownership and issue resolution
- Organize project review meetings and stakeholder briefings
- Prepare and present project dashboards and performance reports to management
- Support project governance and compliance with internal controls and policies
- Facilitate post-project reviews and identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure project alignment with strategic business goals
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- A Master’s degree or professional certification is an added advantage
Experience:
- 4–6 years experience in project coordination or PMO support role
- Prior work experience in fintech or technology-driven environments preferred
- Understanding of product lifecycles, project delivery models, and industry trends
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Asana, Trello, or Monday.com
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies
- Experience with risk tracking, issue logs, change control, and stakeholder mapping
Certifications:
- CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation, or Agile Scrum certifications are beneficial
Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Team player with the ability to work cross-functionally
