Job Description:

The Quality Control Manager will supervise production staff in the automobile factory and oversee all processes in the manufacturing of armored vehicles and OEMs to ensure adherence to quality and efficiency standards. Additionally, the manager will collaborate with clients to ensure the final products meet their specifications and requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Gain an understanding of client needs and communicate quality standards to production teams.
• Develop strategies to enhance the manufacturing process for improved vehicle quality.
• Develop, refine, and review specifications and procedures for products or processes, and provide training to staff.
• Set requirements for raw materials from suppliers and monitor compliance.
• Supervise inspectors, technicians, and staff, and provide guidance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with legal obligations and regulatory bodies, as well as health and safety guidelines.
• Oversee product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
• Inspect final output, compare it to requirements, and approve or reject products.
• Maintain accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis.
• Gather client feedback, attend meetings, submit reports, and assist external auditors and inspectors.

Qualifications / Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Relevant Quality Control/Assurance Professional Certifications.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Quality Assurance in an auto manufacturing organization.
• Thorough understanding of automobiles and production processes.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards.
• Proven ability to drive change and engage others, with excellent attention to detail.

Salary:

N300,000 – N350,000 per month.
