Regulatory Pharmacist

Job Summary
Dana Group is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Regulatory Pharmacist to oversee compliance with regulatory standards and ensure that the organization’s pharmaceutical operations meet all legal and professional requirements. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in GMP standards, regulatory submissions, and liaison with national and state regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies and implement procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
- Ensure filing of all legal and regulatory documents, and monitor ongoing compliance
- Authorize production processes, review Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), and evaluate related documentation
- Oversee professional indemnity coverage for all controlled activities
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Manage product registration with NAFDAC
- Ensure production aligns with WHO GMP, NAFDAC, PCN, FMLP, and NIS ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Liaise with regulatory bodies such as PMGMAN, NAFDAC, PCN, PSN, Customs, and Ministries of Health
- Address market complaints in collaboration with QC/QA teams
- Oversee registration and renewal of premises and warehouse licenses with PCN
- Supervise all regulatory activities including license renewals and product registrations
- Stay updated on GMP, CGMP, and Pharmacovigilance regulations
- Handle chemical permit processing for Dana Group companies
- Ensure legal and professional operational compliance
- Guide internal teams on regulatory requirements
- Participate in advocacy and corporate responsibility programs to maintain strong stakeholder relationships
Requirements
- B.Pharm degree from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in regulatory compliance or a similar role
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of national and international pharmaceutical regulatory standards
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience liaising with regulatory bodies
- Proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple compliance activities
- Up-to-date knowledge of GMP, CGMP, and Pharmacovigilance practices
