Job Summary:
Seven-Up Bottling Company seeks an experienced Sales merchandiser to ensure products are strategically placed at the right time, quantity, and price.
Responsibilities:
- Develop merchandising strategies aligning with customer expectations and company objectives.
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to anticipate product demands and plan stock ranges accordingly.
- Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to negotiate pricing, quantities, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor stock movement, considering markdowns, promotions, price adjustments, and clearances.
- Cultivate positive customer relationships and collaborate with channel partners to generate leads and finalize sales.
- Stay updated with industry best practices.
- Enhance customer interest and sales levels through effective product displays.
- Create store layout plans and maintain inventory and shelves.
- Forecast profits/sales and develop budgets.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of OND.
- 1 year of work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in merchandising, preferably in beverage sales.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent listening, presentation, and decision-making abilities.
- Commercial insight and the capability to understand customer needs.
- Creative aptitude with a track record of identifying target audiences and devising engaging campaigns.
- Updated knowledge of merchandising trends and practices.
