Sanlam CA Training Programme 2025
Join Sanlam as an apprentice and gain essential industry skills through our CA Training Programme. Our main objective is to cultivate a select group of top-tier Chartered Accountants (CAs) who will enhance our leadership team.
Programme Overview
The Sanlam CA Training Programme adheres to SAICA’s guidelines, which mandate practical experience to achieve the necessary technical and professional competencies for value creation. Over the course of the three-year programme, trainees will rotate through various departments within the Group Office and across different clusters of the Sanlam Group. This rotational structure provides comprehensive exposure to fulfill the SAICA competency requirements.

Who We’re Looking For
Ideal candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Completion of your Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) or eligibility to take the ITC board exam before the programme starts.
- Experience: No previous permanent work experience is required; less than one year of formal work experience is acceptable.
- Academic Achievement: A minimum academic average of 60%.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership in community, university, or sports activities.
