Job Summary

Dana Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of Dana Group, is hiring a competent and proactive Security Officer to oversee and coordinate security operations at its Ibadan facility. The ideal candidate will manage security personnel, implement safety measures, and respond to incidents to ensure the protection of people and property.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise Security Personnel

  • Manage a team of security guards and ensure adherence to company policies
  • Train and equip security staff for efficient and professional service delivery

Security Operations

  • Monitor daily security activities and respond to any breaches or incidents
  • Conduct routine patrols and ensure implementation of security procedures

Risk Management

  • Identify security threats and potential vulnerabilities
  • Develop mitigation strategies and implement risk management practices

Emergency Response

  • Handle emergency situations such as intrusions, fire outbreaks, or medical incidents
  • Liaise with emergency services when necessary

Record Keeping

  • Maintain logs and incident reports
  • Submit regular reports detailing security operations and incidents

Collaboration

  • Work closely with other departments to maintain a safe working environment
  • Coordinate with law enforcement and other external agencies as required
Requirements
  • National Diploma (ND) in any discipline
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in a security supervisory or officer role
  • Previous experience in an industrial or pharmaceutical setting is an added advantage
