Job Description

The Security Officer at the CNG Station will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the facility, its personnel, and operations. This role includes surveillance, routine patrols, and rapid response to security concerns or emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the CNG Station to prevent unauthorized entry
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises and surrounding areas
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security breaches to management
• Respond promptly to alarms or emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary
• Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and observations
• Assist in the implementation of security procedures and safety protocols
• Provide guidance to staff and visitors on safe practices within the facility
• Conduct routine inspections of security equipment and report malfunctions

Requirements / Qualifications

• OND, HND, SSCE or equivalent
• Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred
• Basic knowledge of security protocols and emergency response measures
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit and able to patrol for long periods
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
