Job Overview:

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Beauty Butler, you will be instrumental in developing a visually appealing and user-friendly interface for our app. You will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver exceptional user experiences. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where your ideas and contributions will have a direct impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Frontend Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the app’s user interface. Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and build new features.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, conduct performance testing, and implement improvements.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Collaborate with the support team to troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues. Participate in on-call rotations for critical system issues.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality user experiences through thorough QA processes before deployment.
• Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, engineering tools, and emerging technologies. Bring innovative ideas to the team.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Brainstorm and build new features with Product Managers and Engineers. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Code Review & Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, refactor code, and advocate for best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years in Frontend Development or a similar role with a strong consumer experience portfolio across mobile and web.
• Technical Skills: Mastery of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Extensive experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js). In-depth understanding of security best practices.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent at navigating complex problem spaces, asking the right questions, and bringing clarity to the team.
• Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to present and justify engineering decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership: Proven leadership, judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Experience collaborating with UI/UX designers to implement complex user interfaces.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in creating responsive designs, scalable front-end architectures, testing frameworks, and debugging tools. Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
