Job Summary:

The Senior Product Designer will lead a team in creating intuitive design solutions, ensuring high-quality user experiences across web and mobile platforms. This role requires a data-driven approach and collaboration with cross-functional teams to align design requirements, iterate on features, and support ongoing systems-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design System Management:
  • Lead the implementation and adoption of the design system vision and infrastructure.
  • Continuously evolve design patterns, test components, and enhance Busha’s design standards.
• Product Feature Development:
  • Collaborate with other designers to define and refine product features on web and mobile platforms.
  • Adapt and update designs based on user research and internal feedback.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work with various teams to build and maintain the design system library.
  • Support strategic projects, creative infrastructure needs, and address inquiries from design, product, and engineering teams.
• Design Support:
  • Conduct training sessions for team members, assisting them in creating local libraries linked to the central system.
  • Develop user personas, journey maps, and drive initiatives to improve the design practice at Busha.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5-7+ years in user experience, product, or related design field.
• Skills:
  • Expertise in creating consistent, high-quality user interfaces and a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with Figma and modern design/product tools (Airtable, Notion, GitHub).
  • Strong portfolio of cross-platform design work for iOS, Android, and web.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a commitment to exceptional design standards.
• Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience with accessibility standards, internationalization, or localization.
  • Background in working with design systems, creative directors, and motion designers.
  • Proficiency in platform-specific guidelines (e.g., iOS Human Interface, Android Material).
