Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Storekeeper to manage inventory, storage, and distribution activities in our FMCG warehouse. The ideal candidate will ensure stock accuracy, efficient storage practices, and timely dispatch of goods to support smooth supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming products and materials.
  • Maintain up-to-date and precise inventory records.
  • Implement First-In, First-Out (FIFO) and First-Expiry, First-Out (FEFO) stock rotation systems.
  • Keep the storage area clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
  • Label and tag goods properly for easy tracking and retrieval.
  • Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Handle and store both perishable and non-perishable goods appropriately.
  • Prepare and dispatch goods according to sales orders and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate with the purchasing team for timely replenishment.
  • Conduct periodic stock audits and promptly report discrepancies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • OND, HND, B.Sc., or equivalent qualification. A degree or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience as a Storekeeper or Warehouse Assistant, preferably within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, inventory software).
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of FMCG product handling, storage, and distribution requirements.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
  • Basic understanding of safety and hygiene regulations.
