About the Role

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will manage media activities for Jumia’s Strategic brand partners—its Joint Business Plan (JBP) partners. You will handle a portfolio of about a dozen JBP brands with monthly animation and high-performance campaign expectations. Where bandwidth allows, you will also support key strategic sellers covered by local JBPs. You will report to the local Head of Advertising and functionally to the regional JBP lead, collaborating closely with Strategic Vendor Service (SVS) teams overseeing each brand’s commercial, logistics, and advertising budget aspects.

Responsibilities
  • Define a monthly media plan for assigned brands.
  • Execute the approved media plan in alignment with each brand.
  • Analyze channel-level performance and optimize intra-month.
  • Report results and build brand-by-brand recommendations for upcoming months.
  • Build relationships with local JBP brand teams, AdOps, and marketing teams.
  • Support key strategic sellers under local JBPs when bandwidth permits.
Requirements
  • 6–8 years’ experience managing online marketing campaigns (multi-channel), comfortable with marketing KPIs and campaign budgets.
  • Growth-hacker mindset.
  • Enjoy working with large datasets from multiple sources; strong data-crunching ability.
  • Comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Good level of English.
  • Sensitivity to brand DNA is a plus.
