Job Description

We are looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will play a pivotal role in delivering our recruitment strategy by ensuring a high-quality, competency-based hiring process across all levels. You will partner with HR and business leaders to ensure a seamless and effective end-to-end recruitment experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment processes with HR Partners and Hiring Managers
• Develop job specifications, define selection criteria, and manage interview logistics
• Conduct competency-based interviews and guide decision-making with hiring teams
• Maintain effective communication with both hiring managers and candidates
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through innovative sourcing techniques
• Manage recruitment reporting and stakeholder updates through weekly/monthly reports
• Coordinate recruitment activities within BambooHR and ensure data accuracy
• Collaborate with recruitment agencies when necessary for hard-to-fill roles
• Conduct market intelligence research to inform recruitment strategies
• Ensure timely and compliant workforce hiring approvals and onboarding procedures
• Keep applicant tracking systems up to date and generate data-driven insights

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or Humanities
• Professional certification (CIPD, CIPM, SHRM) is required
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in recruitment, preferably in marine, ports, or shipyard industries
• Direct sourcing skills (social media, professional networking)
• Experience using BambooHR and other ATS systems
• Proven ability to work in multicultural environments and engage senior stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of competency-based recruitment practices
