Job Description
We are looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will play a pivotal role in delivering our recruitment strategy by ensuring a high-quality, competency-based hiring process across all levels. You will partner with HR and business leaders to ensure a seamless and effective end-to-end recruitment experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment processes with HR Partners and Hiring Managers
- Develop job specifications, define selection criteria, and manage interview logistics
- Conduct competency-based interviews and guide decision-making with hiring teams
- Maintain effective communication with both hiring managers and candidates
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through innovative sourcing techniques
- Manage recruitment reporting and stakeholder updates through weekly/monthly reports
- Coordinate recruitment activities within BambooHR and ensure data accuracy
- Collaborate with recruitment agencies when necessary for hard-to-fill roles
- Conduct market intelligence research to inform recruitment strategies
- Ensure timely and compliant workforce hiring approvals and onboarding procedures
- Keep applicant tracking systems up to date and generate data-driven insights
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or Humanities
- Professional certification (CIPD, CIPM, SHRM) is required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in recruitment, preferably in marine, ports, or shipyard industries
- Direct sourcing skills (social media, professional networking)
- Experience using BambooHR and other ATS systems
- Proven ability to work in multicultural environments and engage senior stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of competency-based recruitment practices
