The Candel FZE is a leading manufacturing company specializing in the development, production, marketing, and distribution of agrochemicals, specialized fertilizers, seeds, and related products in Nigeria. Our facility is strategically located in the Lekki Free Zone, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, in proximity to the Dangote Refinery.

Job Responsibilities:

• Continuous Improvement:
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and related activities.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of production processes and procedures.
• Preventative Maintenance:
  • Perform assigned preventative maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
• Training and Support:
  • Assist in training new operators and maintenance personnel in mechanical repairs.
  • Support the production team by coordinating with the Production Shift Supervisor.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet established standards.
  • Process and optimize injection and blow molding machines to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Documentation and Compliance:
  • Complete and file required documentation promptly and systematically.
  • Ensure compliance with material usage standards and maintain safety and housekeeping protocols.
• Production Support:
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate processing conditions for resin, dryer, material handling, and color systems.
  • Properly identify and manage regrind and chunk produced during operations.
• Shift Coordination:
  • Communicate processing information effectively to personnel on incoming shifts.
  • Provide assistance to other operators as required.
• Machine Operation:
  • Operate plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment efficiently, ensuring safety and quality.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Production Engineering.
  • Must have graduated with at least a Second Class Honors, Upper Division from a recognized Nigerian university.
• Ideal candidates should be aged not more than 30 years old.
