We are seeking an experienced Treasury Manager at at CredPal Limited to lead our financial asset management efforts and optimize liquidity. Key Responsibilities
- Cash Flow Management: Develop and implement frameworks for monitoring and managing cash flows to ensure smooth operations and efficient investment management.
- Credit Services Oversight: Collaborate with credit services teams to forecast cash requirements for installment payments and credit card loans, ensuring timely disbursements and collections.
- Investment Strategy: Design and oversee investment strategies for funds generated from deposits, savings, and surplus capital, balancing risk and return for maximum profitability.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and manage financial risks such as interest rate and credit risks through hedging strategies and prudent investment decisions.
- Bank Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, negotiate favorable banking terms, and explore solutions to enhance cash management.
- Cash Forecasting: Develop accurate forecasts to anticipate fluctuations in cash flow under various scenarios.
- Compliance and Policy Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, especially when handling customer funds, and establish treasury policies and procedures.
- Technology Integration: Leverage treasury management software and fintech solutions to automate processes and evaluate banking systems for optimal operations.
- Reporting and Leadership: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, mentor treasury staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Assess and enhance treasury processes for efficiency and risk mitigation, while staying informed about industry trends and regulatory updates.
- Foreign Exchange Management: Evaluate foreign exchange exposure and implement hedging strategies where appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CTP certification is a plus).
- Proven experience in treasury management, finance, or a similar financial role.
- Strong analytical skills and financial modeling expertise for investment decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct when managing financial data.
- Prior experience with debt management and foreign exchange is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Knowledge of financial markets, investment instruments, and risk management practices.
- Familiarity with treasury management systems and banking relationships.
