About the Role

The Veterinary Doctor will manage commercial broiler operations with a capacity of 60,000 – 100,000 birds, leading them to cropping stage within 35 days across no less than 8 pen houses. The role also includes overseeing the placement of over 40,000 day-old chicks weekly.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial broiler operations and ensure efficient cropping within 35 days.
• Oversee the weekly placement of 40,000 day-old chicks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in poultry farming and value addition.
• Implement effective biosecurity and environmental management practices.
• Provide leadership and coordination for the broiler breeding process.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
• Proven experience in commercial broiler breeding and poultry workmanship.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage large-scale poultry operations.
• Excellent communication, passion, and commitment to the role.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in general computer knowledge.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental and biosecurity management.
