According to the release, students in the 200-Level belonging to the College of Agricultural Sciences and Renewable Natural Resources are instructed to begin their lectures at the Iseyin Campus. The specified date for this resumption is Monday, October 23, 2023.
It was further emphasized that these affected students, numbering slightly over a thousand, had been duly informed in advance about this transition. This proactive approach ensures that students are well-prepared and can make a seamless transition.
Evaluation of the Iseyin Campus Readiness
The decision to move to the Iseyin Campus was not abrupt; it was the result of careful planning. In a demonstration of the institution's commitment to providing a high-quality learning experience, the Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, took a significant step.
A day before the official announcement, Professor Kalilu, along with other esteemed members, including Council members, principal officers, members of the Senate, and others, visited the Iseyin Campus. Their primary objective was to assess the readiness of the facilities available. Ensuring that the campus is fully equipped and prepared for students is of utmost importance to the institution.
Accompanying the Acting Vice-Chancellor were members of the Committee of Provosts and Deans and representatives of the student body.
