About the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is the Nigerian organization in charge of hosting college entrance exams. The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is given by the board to high school seniors in Nigeria who want to go to college. JAMB is also in charge of giving the same tests to people who want to apply to state and private polytechnics, colleges of education, and monotechnics in Nigeria.
Candidates must have passed the West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), which is held every year by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), or a title that is the same or similar, like the National Examination Council (NECO) Senior School Certificate Examination.

- The last day to sign up for JAMB 2024 is February 14, 2024.
- The cost to sign up for the UTME and Direct Entry for 2024/2025 is N4,700.
- “The Life Changer” by Khadija Abubakar Jalli is the required book for the UTME in 2024/2025.
- On April 29, 2024, candidates will be able to print out new JAMB exam slips, which will show them their exam date, time, and location.
- The practice test for the JAMB 2024/2025 UTME is set for April 20, 2024, and you don't have to take it.

- You can set aside a total of about NGN5,000 for all of the registration processes.
