We are currently seeking to hire a full-time Project Manager for Furniture and Interior Design (m/f/x) based in Abuja at the Abuja Furniture Production in Nigeria.
AFP Furniture Production, a subsidiary of Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, is part of the largest employer in Nigeria. With a workforce of over 430 employees, AFP stands as a leading manufacturer in the furniture and interior design domain. We undertake nationwide projects for private clients, government institutions, and internal corporate interior fittings.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial and technical order processing in furniture production, including customer support and acquisition. Plan, organize, and execute projects while serving as the liaison between the client and the internal coordination teams (design, production, purchasing, logistics).
- Coordinate daily assembly activities in consultation with assembly management.
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety, accident prevention regulations, and maintain quality management standards.
Job Requirements: Essential Skills:
- Completed technical training (e.g., carpenter or joiner master) or a degree in engineering (m/f/x) specializing in wood technology or interior design.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with prior experience in project team leadership.
- Proficiency in order processing using ERP systems (preferably Kuhnle Holz), CAD-2D and -3D skills (preferably AutoCAD, PaletteCAD), and MS-Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, willingness to travel internationally.
