Role Overview

• Responsible for managing the account payables function at Metwest Steel Limited’s corporate Head Office.
• Analyze and sustain account payable performance metrics, fostering service relationships and communications across various departments in the Steel Industry.
• Maintain an accurate and updated record of all invoices received from suppliers/vendors.
• Evaluate staff advance requests, ensuring proper authorization by relevant department/unit heads.
• Offer appropriate responses to suppliers’ queries/issues, escalating unresolved matters to the Head of Head Office Accounting, when necessary.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of suppliers’ sub-ledger accounts with the general ledger.
• Recommend potential updates to existing invoice processing policies and procedures.
