Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced, proactive HR Generalist to join our team. As our first HR hire, you will play a key role in establishing foundational HR practices, ensuring compliance, supporting our team, and helping us scale sustainably. You’ll work closely with leadership to build a positive company culture and manage the full spectrum of HR functions.
Key Responsibilities

HR Setup & Compliance

Develop and implement core HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook

Ensure legal compliance with federal, state, and local HR regulations

Set up and manage employee records, contracts, and HR systems

Recruitment & Onboarding

Lead the recruitment process from job postings to offer letters

Build a consistent and engaging onboarding experience for new hires

Partner with managers to identify staffing needs and plan ahead

Employee Relations & Culture

Be a trusted point of contact for employee questions and concerns

Support a positive and inclusive workplace culture

Assist in performance management and conflict resolution
