Oxford-Grace Lake Scholarship Overview

The scholarship is financed by Grace Lake Partners in collaboration with the Rewley Fund.

Ladi Delano, a Saïd Business School alumnus twice over (MSc in Major Programme Management, 2018; Postgraduate Diploma in Global Business, 2016), co-founded Grace Lake Partners (GLP) in 2014. GLP is an investment and advisory firm dedicated to establishing and managing businesses that cater to societal needs in Nigeria, generating economic value for the company and its shareholders.

Driven by concern for the educational challenges faced by numerous young Nigerians, Ladi initiated the GLP Cares Foundation. This Foundation has offered multiple full scholarships to deserving scholars for enrollment in reputable private and public Universities in Nigeria.

Having graduated from Oxford Saïd, Ladi founded the Oxford-Grace Lake Scholarship via the GLP Cares Foundation in collaboration with the Rewley Fund. This scholarship is geared towards supporting exceptional candidates from Nigeria.

Scholarship Details:

Value: £20,000

Number available: One

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be ordinarily resident in Nigeria.

Selection Criteria:

• Scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence demonstrated through degree results, GMAT or GRE scores, previous university accolades, and other academic accomplishments.
• Applicants must also exhibit a commitment to contributing to the development of Nigeria and an intention to continue doing so.

How to Apply:

Applicants must complete an MBA application and upload the scholarship essay in the ‘Funding’ section of the programme application form. The essay should not exceed 500 words and should address the following prompt:

• Outline your contributions to the development of Nigeria or the region, or articulate how you intend to contribute to its development in the future.

Deadline:

There isn’t a fixed application deadline for this scholarship. All eligible candidates will be considered after each MBA admissions deadline. However, the availability of the scholarship in later application stages is not guaranteed, so early application is recommended.
