Description

University of Toronto President’s Scholars of Excellence Program 2024

Eligibility:

The President’s Scholars of Excellence Program (PSEP) aims to recognize approximately 150 highly qualified students applying for the first year of direct-entry undergraduate studies. Exceptional domestic and international secondary school applicants are automatically considered for this distinction upon admission. There is no separate application process for PSEP consideration. Candidates are assessed based on their academic average at the time of admission. Individuals who have previously enrolled in a post-secondary institution are not eligible for PSEP consideration. This distinction, extended to a select few exceptional students, offers the following opportunities:

  • A non-renewable $10,000 entrance scholarship in the first year.
  • Further details about additional features are included in the acceptance letter from the admitting division.

Award Type: Admission

Action: Automatically Considered

Availability: Domestic and International Students

Level of Study: Undergraduate

Value/Amount: $10,000 in the first year (non-renewable)

Payment Procedure:

The award payment is contingent upon full-time enrollment in September at the specific division/faculty extending the offer (i.e., the scholarship offer is division/faculty specific). Students must be registered full-time for both the fall and winter sessions. Upon registration in September, the award amount will be credited to the student’s fees account. After settling any outstanding fees, any remaining balance will be issued through direct deposit. It is important to ensure that the direct deposit banking information is up-to-date on the student’s ACORN account. Instructions for setting up direct deposit on ACORN can be found at http://help.acorn.utoronto.ca/how-to/.
