Africa Graduate Programme at Control Risks Nigeria

Control Risks is a specialized risk consultancy focused on establishing secure, compliant, and resilient organizations amidst constantly evolving risks. Control Risks is launching the fifth edition of its Africa Graduate Programme – AGP (V). This initiative aims to offer young African graduates from diverse backgrounds the chance to acquire skills and cultivate workplace experience. Upon successful completion, graduates may have the opportunity to join Control Risks on a full-time basis in one of our African offices.

Job Responsibilities:
  • This rotational program involves graduates working with various teams and service lines across different settings, not confined to office environments.
  • Deliver high-quality, client-centric research, analysis, and reports within tight deadlines.
  • Contribute to supporting business development initiatives.
  • Forge strong and lasting relationships locally and internationally within Control Risks.
  • Understand and embody our Purpose and Values.
Requirements:
  • To excel in AGP (V), you should embrace flexibility, change, and challenges.
  • Apart from analytical and research skills, possessing an open mind, articulate communication (both written and verbal), and confidence is crucial.
  • A strong team spirit is necessary for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
  • Self-motivation and an ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment and handle varying workloads are expected.
  • Commercial awareness is essential to swiftly comprehend our clients’ issues and identify opportunities for their success.
  • Minimum education level: Bachelor’s degree (with honors) or equivalent.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Key focus areas for AGP (V) include: data analytics, ESG, cyber security, and forensics.
  • Proficiency in additional international languages (preferably to CFER C1-C2 level) like French (mandatory for Senegal AGP), Arabic, Mandarin, Portuguese, or Spanish, is desirable.
  • Completion of National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) – for Nigeria graduates, or similar mandatory youth training where applicable.
  • Maximum of 2 years of post-graduate work experience.

Additional Information:
  • This is a fully paid 12-month programme.
  • Eligibility requires being an East African citizen, Nigerian, South African, or Senegalese.
