FlexiSAF Edusoft Limited is a homegrown company with a grand mission to reshape the educational landscape in Nigeria and the broader African context through the innovative use of technology. Currently, FlexiSAF proudly serves a diverse clientele, comprising 500 educational institutions, and boasts a dedicated workforce exceeding 100 professionals. Notably, before its official registration in 2012 as FlexiSAF EduSoft Limited, the business operated under the banner of FlexiSAF Tech. Solutions Ltd., commencing its journey back in 2008.

Job Summary

This is a remote role.

The Flexisaf Internship Program is designed for individuals who are dynamic, creative, and brimming with energy, eager to acquire technical expertise in Brand Identity Design. You will embark on a self-guided learning journey, engaging in assignments and projects that align with a meticulously structured Internship Program Curriculum and resources that we offer at no cost.

Your progress will be meticulously monitored and guided throughout the program to ensure that you stay on course and remain accountable. Throughout this journey, you will learn from innovative and inspirational mentors, gaining valuable experience as you work on real-world solutions and simultaneously honing work-ready soft skills.

This program welcomes a diverse range of participants, including students seeking SIWES placements, recent graduates in search of NYSC placements, post-NYSC graduates looking to gain further experience, students eager to acquire industry exposure, and anyone interested in enhancing their tech skills and commencing a career in the tech sector.

Please Note: This is an unpaid opportunity. Payment in the form of stipends to cover data allowances and other expenses is currently unavailable for participants, except for Youth Corp Members (NYSC). Every participant is expected to have a functioning laptop and access to data to enable full participation, including progress tracking, at various stages of the program.

Additionally, while this is primarily a remote tech-training program, interns accepted and participating in the SIWES or NYSC categories are expected to be on-site during their placement, in compliance with the requirements stipulated by the Industrial Trust Fund (ITF) and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). Therefore, it is crucial to choose the appropriate Internship category when applying.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Design Foundations and a working knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Studio, encompassing XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and more.
• Demonstrated creativity and a discerning eye for design.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Accountability, as evidenced by adherence to established metrics and performance indicators.
• Strong time management skills.
• Resourcefulness and a knack for troubleshooting, coupled with a results-driven mindset.
• A commitment to learning and adaptability.
• A crucial ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Application of knowledge gained in computer science or software engineering-related courses to tackle real-world challenges.

Please Note: To be accepted into the program under the NYSC category, participants will undergo further assessment and work with our Product Teams during their service year.
