Job Summary:

Elizabeth Maddeux is seeking a well-presented and proactive Secretary to provide administrative and organizational support to management and staff. The ideal candidate should be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver daily administrative support to management and team members.

  • Draft, format, and edit reports, letters, presentations, and other documents.

  • Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and oversee calendar activities.

  • Record accurate minutes during meetings and circulate follow-up action points.

  • Maintain both electronic and physical filing systems for easy retrieval.

  • Handle phone calls, emails, and other forms of correspondence professionally.

  • Safeguard confidential company information.

  • Support data entry, record keeping, and document management tasks.

  • Anticipate administrative needs and provide proactive solutions.

  • Assist in adopting digital tools and improving organizational efficiency.

Requirements:
  • B.Sc in Law, Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in a similar role.

  • Female candidate, professional in appearance and demeanor.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar, Gmail, Meet).

  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Project management skills will be an added advantage.

  • Candidate must be based in Abuja, aged between 23–30 years.

  • Tech-savvy, detail-focused, proactive, and capable of working independently or within a team.
