Job Summary:
Worknigeria is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and coordinate daily operations within the Blown Film or Flexible Packaging unit. This role is critical to ensuring smooth production flow, effective resource utilization, strict adherence to quality and safety standards, and achievement of production goals. The right candidate will be a technically skilled leader with extensive plastics manufacturing experience and a proven ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily production activities and ensure alignment with production schedules.

Manage machine operations for Blown Film or Flexible Packaging lines, reducing downtime and maximizing output.

Enforce quality assurance measures to consistently meet customer and product specifications.

Train, mentor, and lead production staff, promoting accountability, safety, and operational excellence.

Troubleshoot equipment and process-related challenges to maintain uninterrupted production.

Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to streamline workflows.

Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations across the facility.

Monitor and report production metrics, addressing variances with corrective measures.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, cut waste, and manage costs.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Plastics Technology, Engineering, or a related manufacturing field.

At least 10 years of relevant industrial experience in a supervisory capacity.

Demonstrated expertise in Blown Film or Flexible Packaging production.

Strong leadership and people management capabilities.

Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and process optimization skills.

In-depth knowledge of production safety standards and regulatory compliance.
