Job Title: Project Management Officer (PMO)

Location: Lagos

Reports To: Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and tech-savvy Project Management Officer with experience in managing IT-related projects. The ideal candidate will support the Project Manager in overseeing fieldwork and tracking project progress using effective project management tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in contract review and translate Terms and Conditions into project deliverables
  • Communicate project goals and objectives as defined by the Project Manager
  • Identify project risks and maintain a risk register
  • Support development and monitoring of mitigation plans
  • Assist in preparing project status and progress reports
  • Support management of purchase orders, variations, and change tracking
  • Ensure compliance with reporting procedures and project requirements
  • Develop and manage project plans and reports
  • Participate in project budgeting with relevant stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication and information flow among team members
  • Maintain project schedules, calendars, and milestones
  • Support resource planning using staffing models
Qualifications & Requirements
  • B.Sc / HND in Business Administration, Computer Science, Geography, or related field
  • Maximum of 2 years post-qualification experience in project management
  • Exposure to IT solution projects in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Knowledge of project management tools and processes
  • Familiarity with project metrics and evaluation techniques
  • Understanding of commercial and financial project processes
  • Membership of a project management body or certification is an added advantage
