Job Summary

mPharma is seeking a proactive and experienced Junior Associate Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations, patient care, inventory management, logistics, customer experience, and digital health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage pharmacy inventory, monitor stock levels, and order supplies when required.
• Supervise Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians to ensure proper packaging and dispensing of medicines.
• Review prescriptions filled by Pharmacy Technicians and ensure proper dispensing procedures are followed.
• Verify legitimate prescriptions for patients requesting medication deliveries.
• Manage the logistics system and ensure timely delivery of medicines to patients.
• Develop and manage drug formularies for mymutti.com and other online platforms.
• Support customer experience on mymutti.com, including complaints, product availability, user experience, bug reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Support marketing activities, including content calendars, artwork supervision, and post scheduling.
• Provide clinical counselling to patients through the call centre.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements

• B.Pharm or Pharm.D degree from an accredited institution.
• Current Practicing License.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication, analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple initiatives effectively.
• Experience in pharmacy operations and team management is an added advantage.
• Strong interest in improving access to affordable, quality healthcare.
