Job Title: 2024 Graduate Recruitment – Audit & Assurance
About Audit & Assurance:
Auditing is a complex process, and the role of auditors as a crucial link in the financial reporting chain is increasingly vital. Our global network of audit professionals offers a range of audit and advisory services to help clients achieve their business objectives, manage risk, and enhance business performance worldwide. Utilizing cutting-edge tools empowers Deloitte audit professionals to deliver assurance service quality and excellence inherent in the Deloitte brand, meeting the expectations of regulators and the public.
Services:
- Audit of financial statements prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), NGAAP, and other applicable standards.
- Review of accounting and internal control systems.
- Assistance with establishing reporting departments.
- Advisory services for employee benefits calculation, asset impairment, provisions for asset retirement obligations, and other long-term provisions.
- Support for business valuations, asset and liability valuation, and goodwill determination in line with IFRS.
- Consulting on accounting principles, chart of accounts, and organization of finance and accounting departments.
- Comprehensive guidance on implementing International Financial Reporting Standards, including interpretation and application of complex standards.
Job Requirements:
- Willingness to embrace our purpose of making an impact that matters.
- Graduation from a recognized University/ Polytechnic with at least a second class upper degree/upper credit or equivalent in any discipline.
- A minimum credit in five (5) O ’levels subjects including Mathematics and English in one sitting.
- Maximum age of 26 years at the application date.
- Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.
- No prior attempt at the Deloitte aptitude test.
