Job Description:
The Finance Advisor, SAP FICO BW, plays a crucial role within the Finance team, providing management information reports to business and functional leaders across the organization. This role encompasses responsibilities such as SAP FICO BW support, data exchange quality assurance, MI report preparation, SAP FICO BW end-user capability building and support, and MI standardization and improvement projects support.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure SAP FICO BW HANA solutions are up-to-date and aligned with business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain quality master and transaction data in SAP ECC and BW.
- Conduct regular data integrity checks on SAP BW FICO data and take proactive measures to resolve issues.
- Monitor SAP BW availability/performance and liaise with relevant SAP local and global teams for issue resolution.
- Develop robust training plans to address identified competence gaps among end users.
- Assist SAP BW end users in report creation and provide super user support as needed.
- Standardize and automate MI reports using Macros and Power BI.
- Ensure accurate cost mappings in management information reports.
- Manage priorities and stakeholder expectations to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Support the implementation of global MI standards, including Touchless MI use cases.
- Continuously identify improvement opportunities to reduce complexity and promote best practices.
Requirements:
What We Need from You:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- SAP Finance certification and working knowledge of other modules integration
- Partial qualification in professional accounting program such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA (an advantage)
- IT knowledge or skill (an advantage)
- Prior experience in Management Information and Reporting (an advantage)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel & PowerPoint
- Experience with Touchless MI tools (e.g., Power BI) or willingness to learn
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure, manage conflicting priorities, and maintain a strong value/risk focus
- Eagerness to learn and develop
Successful Candidate Must Be:
- Able to quickly grasp new concepts and work independently with minimal supervision
- A strong team player with a focus on delivery, development, and work-life balance
- Committed to high ethical standards and compliance with organizational policies and procedures
- Willing to work non-standard hours at month ends and quarter ends, if necessary
