We are currently seeking a qualified and skilled individual to join our team in the role of HR / Office Manager. This position, based in Ikeja, Lagos, is a full-time employment opportunity.

Job Summary:
  • The HR Officer plays a pivotal role in managing the workforce of any organization.
  • Alongside our current HR Officer, you will be responsible for recruiting and managing all aspects of the employment process, including orientation, training of new staff, payroll management, and talent development through policy development and procedure management.
  • Additionally, in collaboration with the Admin Manager, you will oversee administrative tasks to contribute to creating a conducive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:
  • Coordinate recruitment processes, conduct interviews, and onboard new hires. Employee Relations:
  • Address employee inquiries and concerns, resolve employee relations issues, and conduct exit interviews. HR Policy and Procedure Implementation:
  • Implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Employee Engagement and Recognition:
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives and recognize and reward employees. Health and Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct safety training. Payroll and Compensation:
  • Process payroll accurately and administer compensation programs. Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs, coordinate training programs, and evaluate training effectiveness. Benefits Administration:
  • Administer employee benefits programs and resolve benefits-related issues. Performance Management:
  • Support performance evaluation processes and monitor performance metrics. Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain HR records and documentation.
Requirements and Skills:
  • OND / HND / BSc / BA in Business Administration, Social Studies, or relevant field; additional training preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is advantageous.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
  • Strong ethics and reliability.
  • HR Credentials (e.g., PHR from the HR Certification Institute).
  • Proven experience in HR roles with knowledge of HR functions, labor laws, and disciplinary procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile:
  • The ideal candidate must possess managerial skills and expertise in managing people.
  • They should be capable of working independently with minimal supervision, handling sensitive cases, and providing solutions to complex HR issues.
  • Effective communication, service orientation, teamwork, attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to deliver under pressure are essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as proficiency in HR tools and software, is required.

Salary: ₦200,000 monthly.
