Job Summary
The Inventory Support Officer is responsible for operational and administrative support in managing inventory. The role ensures accurate stock level recording, tracking, and reconciliation while facilitating seamless inventory operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage hardware device inventory to ensure accuracy and availability.
- Device Allocation: Facilitate timely distribution and allocation of hardware devices to stakeholders.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze inventory reports to track stock levels and performance metrics.
- Data Accuracy: Maintain precise inventory records and resolve any data inconsistencies.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance inventory management processes.
- Communication: Provide inventory status updates and address inventory-related concerns with internal stakeholders.
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations related to inventory management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
Requirements
- Educational Qualification:
- OND / HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
- Experience:
- Prior experience in inventory management or related roles.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles and valuation methods.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.
