Job Description:

We are looking for a Laboratory Analyst responsible for ensuring the quality of products and packaging through testing and monitoring. The ideal candidate will handle quality management system processes, calibrate lab equipment, and test raw and packaging materials to meet company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality control functions on products and packaging materials.
• Test incoming raw materials (e.g., corn flour, cocoa powder) and packaging materials (e.g., laminate, nylon) for moisture content, acidity, GSM, thickness, etc.
• Monitor water quality by testing treated water for TDS, hardness, and pH levels.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment such as weighing scales and pH meters.
• Keep records of test results and suggest areas for improvement.
• Prepare laboratory chemicals for testing and perform daily finished goods testing.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health standards, and regulatory agencies like LASEPA, S.O.N, and NAFDAC.

Qualifications:

• HND in Food Science, Laboratory Science, Food & Science Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
• More than 2 years of experience in food manufacturing.

Salary:
₦100,000 – ₦120,000 Monthly
