We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Mechanical & Electrical (M & E) and Civil Projects Engineer in Gombe, Jigawa, and Kano. This is a full-time position at the mid-level experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage Building Services contracts and responsibilities for electrical & mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with Senior Quantity Surveyor on contractual matters when necessary.
• Ensure quality control of documentation as the designated Quality Engineer under the company’s ISO 9000 program.
• Oversee construction works, testing & commissioning works completion.
• Coordinate interfacing among different disciplines/contracts.
• Supervise plumbing and electrical works on construction sites.
• Manage M&E contractors and ensure the quality of work onsite.
• Plan & Design Electrical/Mechanical engineering works for building services.
• Interpret technical designs and drawings.
• Check electrical/mechanical plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculation.
• Provide technical advice and resolve M&E technical issues on site.
• Ensure contractual obligations are preserved and inform the Project Manager of any deviation from the contract.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a degree with at least 2 years of experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.

Salary:

$1,800 – $2,500/month.
