Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service and contribute to meeting sales targets. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability to connect with customers, and a proactive attitude towards resolving issues. Your role is essential in creating a positive shopping experience and contributing to the store’s profitability.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers, ensuring a welcoming shopping experience
  • Provide accurate information on products, pricing, and services
  • Answer customer inquiries about specific products and services
  • Conduct product comparisons to facilitate purchasing decisions
  • Cross-sell and up-sell products to enhance sales
  • Maintain a fully stocked store display and manage merchandise returns
  • Collaborate with the retail team to ensure excellent customer service
  • Inform customers about new arrivals and promotions
  • Relay customer feedback to the Store Manager
  • Stay current with new products and services
Requirements
  • Education: B.Sc or HND in Social Sciences or related fields (preferred)
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar position
  • Must reside within or near Lekki, Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Central Lagos, etc.
  • Proven experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar role
  • Friendly, articulate, and customer-oriented
  • Understanding of retail sales processes and consumer behavior
  • Familiarity with inventory and shelf merchandising
  • Basic math skills and experience achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
