Job Summary

Hillpost Microfinance Bank is seeking an experienced Social Media Strategist to design and execute a robust social media strategy. The ideal candidate will manage the bank’s social media platforms, create engaging content, and build a thriving online community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Implement Strategy: Craft a social media strategy aligned with the bank’s marketing objectives.
• Manage Platforms: Oversee and maintain the bank’s presence on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Content Creation: Develop high-quality, engaging content tailored to the target audience.
• Content Calendar: Plan, schedule, and publish content using a structured calendar.
• Community Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and reviews promptly and professionally.
• Performance Monitoring: Analyze metrics such as engagement rates, follower growth, and conversions to track performance.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with marketing, communications, and customer service teams for consistent messaging.
• Trend Awareness: Stay updated on the latest social media trends and platform developments.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in social media marketing, preferably in the financial services sector.
• Track Record: Proven success in creating impactful social media strategies.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and writing abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for performance optimization.
  • Proficiency with tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer.
• Certifications: Google Analytics, Facebook Blueprint, or HubSpot certifications are a plus.
