If you possess the ability to drive secondary sales by ensuring the availability and visibility of Unilever’s products to consumers in the assigned territory, manage distributors and their sales force effectively, and execute merchandising plans aligned with business objectives, then this role is perfect for you!

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving 100% of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within the assigned territories through effective implementation of the Joint Business Plan toolkit across all relevant channels.
  • Ensuring maximum coverage and identifying new store opportunities, improving controlled coverage through Sub-Distribution and Mainstream routes to market.
  • Utilizing Handheld Terminals (HHTs) to accomplish store-specific tasks and ensuring proper execution of merchandising tasks by sales representatives and merchandisers.
  • Optimizing order fulfillment, suggesting appropriate quantities and assortments for store expansion, and ensuring timely service frequency and order bookings.
  • Managing Distributors’ Trade Term Spend (TTS) effectively by monitoring stocks, debtors, and cash positions to meet norms.
  • Setting up the distributor team by recruiting and training the right individuals, cascading targets, and constantly reviewing performance to achieve targets.
Qualifications
Minimum:
  • 1-2 years of field sales experience (preferably in FMCG)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Sales
  • Strong understanding of Route-to-Market value chain
Preferred:
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience in customer/operational management
  • Proficiency in activation planning and data analytics
  • Effective problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
