Junior Robotics Engineer

Location: Gbagada, Lagos

Job Summary

International Facilities Services Ltd. (IFS Group) is seeking a hands-on Junior Robotics Engineer to support the deployment, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of robotic and autonomous equipment across its facilities management operations.

The role offers an opportunity to work across robotics, electro-mechanical engineering, automation, and smart facilities management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, configure, commission, and maintain autonomous cleaning robots and other robotic equipment.
  • Support robot mapping, navigation, route configuration, and fleet management.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, sensor, battery, and software-related faults.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance and basic equipment condition monitoring.
  • Support robotic equipment installations and site surveys.
  • Train site teams on the safe and effective use of robotic equipment.
  • Monitor equipment performance, uptime, and utilization.
  • Collect and analyse equipment data to identify maintenance and productivity improvements.
  • Maintain accurate technical, maintenance, and equipment records.
  • Work with OEMs, suppliers, and senior engineers to resolve technical issues.
  • Support the adoption and implementation of new robotics and automation technologies.

Salary: N300,000 – N350,000 monthly
