Job Overview: Pharmacist

We are seeking a qualified and licensed Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing expert pharmaceutical care, and ensuring safe and effective drug use in line with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
• Review prescriptions to ensure appropriateness, dosage accuracy, and safety.
• Provide medication counseling and education to patients on proper use, side effects, and interactions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Monitor patient medication therapy and report adverse drug reactions.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Maintain accurate pharmaceutical records and inventory control.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff where applicable.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of medications.
• Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D).
• Completion of NYSC.
• Valid practicing license.
• Strong attention to detail and ethical standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
