Job Summary
The HR Officer will play a vital role in supporting the company’s human resources functions, ensuring effective employee relations, compliance with HR policies, and smooth daily operations. This role involves managing recruitment processes, maintaining employee records, assisting with performance management, and contributing to employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and productive workplace.
Responsibilities

Support recruitment and onboarding processes, including drafting job descriptions, shortlisting, and initial screenings

Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases

Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and compliance with labour laws

Support staff welfare initiatives, engagement programmes, and culture-building activities

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace standards

Contribute to HR reporting, metrics, and process improvements

Provide support in performance management, appraisals, and training coordination

Handle employee queries with professionalism and confidentiality

Assist in payroll preparation and submission of employee-related data
Requirements
-
HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field

Master’s Degree is an added advantage

Minimum of 4 years relevant HR experience

Must be an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM)
-
Not above 30 years of age
-
Strong knowledge of HR functions, labour regulations, and HR best practices

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/Google Workspace and HRIS tools
-
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
-
Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to work independently or in teams
