Monday – Saturday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Position Summary

The HR Officer will manage human capital functions, ensuring compliance with HR policies and labor laws, while fostering a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities include recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, payroll support, and general HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Staffing

  • Assist in workforce planning and recruitment processes.

  • Draft job descriptions, post vacancies, screen resumes, and coordinate interviews.

  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs.

Performance Management

  • Support the performance appraisal process.

  • Monitor probationary periods and contract renewals.

  • Provide guidance to managers on employee performance.

Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and support learning initiatives.

  • Assist with career growth and succession planning.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Support payroll administration and benefits management.

  • Update employee compensation records accurately.

Employee Relations

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries.

  • Foster open communication and resolve conflicts when needed.

  • Drive initiatives that enhance engagement and retention.

HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate HR records including contracts, leave, and performance data.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.

  • Prepare HR reports and metrics for management.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 2–5 years of HR experience.

  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software (HRIS).

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD) is an added advantage.

Salary

₦250,000 – ₦300,000 monthly.
