Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Logistics Manager to oversee the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment across our various project sites.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Procurement and Site Management teams to optimize supply chain operations, minimize waste, control logistics costs, and ensure timely delivery of materials to support project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory, and distribution.
- Coordinate the timely delivery of construction materials, equipment, and other supplies to multiple project sites.
- Develop and implement effective logistics plans to prevent project delays and improve operational efficiency.
- Work closely with procurement and site management teams to coordinate material movement and logistics requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics providers, transporters, and vendors.
- Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance, and fleet performance to optimize operational costs.
- Implement effective tracking and monitoring systems to ensure the security, accountability, and timely delivery of goods in transit.
- Monitor inventory movement and ensure proper documentation of materials and equipment.
- Identify and resolve logistics and supply chain challenges promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and relevant transportation regulations.
- Prepare logistics reports and provide regular updates on operational performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transport Management, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CLM, CLTOMP, or other relevant logistics certifications is highly preferred.
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in logistics management or a related role.
- Experience in the real estate and construction industry is a significant advantage.
- Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple logistics activities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and transportation operations.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
