Job Title: Engineer (Graduate Trainee)
Locations: Sango Ota – Ogun, Lagos, Port Harcourt – Rivers, Kaduna & Aba – Abia
Job Summary

The Graduate Engineer Trainee Programme is designed to provide intensive hands-on training in production operations, maintenance, utilities management, troubleshooting, process optimization, quality systems, safety standards, and engineering project execution within a modern FMCG manufacturing environment.

Successful candidates will gain practical experience working with production machinery, utilities, automation systems, and engineering teams across factory operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in structured engineering and operations training programs
  • Learn the operation and maintenance of production and packaging machines
  • Support troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical faults
  • Assist in preventive and predictive maintenance activities
  • Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities
  • Participate in continuous improvement and efficiency projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
  • Prepare technical and operational reports
  • Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and engineering teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Electrical/Electronic Engineering
    • Mechatronics Engineering
    • Automation/Instrumentation Engineering
  • Minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) or Upper Credit preferred
  • 0–2 years post-graduation experience
  • NYSC completed or currently serving
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and shifts when required
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for engineering and manufacturing operations
