Job Summary

The Risk and Compliance Analyst will support the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of risk, compliance, and control frameworks to help the organization achieve its strategic objectives. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to enforce compliance while driving continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Process Review

  • Assess the effectiveness of the internal control system, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with the company’s Code of Business Conduct and mitigate identified risks.

  • Conduct ad-hoc reviews and investigations as directed by management.

  • Supervise and report on stock take exercises, highlighting discrepancies and corrective actions.

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, laws, and company policies.

  • Implement and monitor risk and compliance initiatives aligned with departmental work plans.

Process Improvement

  • Support development and implementation of best-practice policies across operations.

  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to risk management, compliance, and control frameworks.

  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness through improved operational procedures.

Risk Management

  • Develop, update, and maintain the risk register and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).

  • Monitor and report emerging market risk trends relevant to UAC Foods Ltd.’s operations.

  • Safeguard business operations by enforcing compliance monitoring and proactive risk mitigation.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • HND or BSc in a relevant discipline.

  • Strong knowledge of FMCG operations, applicable legislation, risk management frameworks, internal controls, and accounting standards.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Effective communication and persuasive skills.

  • Excellent report writing and presentation abilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
